I love the theme for today's WT. This isn't at all what I was thinking of, which was more vintage, with some chipboard clock hands... but best laid plans...Who didn't play dandelion clocks when they were little?
5 3/4" square card. I stamped a big dandelion head at the quarters, and little dandelion seeds for the other times. Went over them with Sakura Stardust pens, and then sponged with Shabby Shutters and Faded Denim. The main image is Penny Black, stamped with Versafine Black, coloured with watercolour pencils and cut with Spellbinders Blossom One. Sponged the edges, and mounted it up on foam.
Guess that's the last card for 2009, probably.
Thanks, Julia .
ETA - maybe dandelion clocks are a European folklore, since every comment so far has been a negative on the subject!! *Every child knows how to tell the time by a dandelion clock. You blow till the seed is all blown away, and you count each of the puffs — an hour to a puff. Every child knows this, and very few children want to know any more on the subject.*.
Technically I think the flower head is also called a clock too.

I had never heard of Dandelion clock, but I love the personalization of the card. Adorable images and springy colors. I will have to play Dandelion clock in the spring when my yard is covered in them!

This is so cute, clever, and creative!! I don't have a clock stamp and never thought to do something this adorable. Love it!
Best wishes to you for a very happy, healthy New Year!
