 | | Hmmm, my son Dallas was waiting patiently for the FS to come out tonight while I was cutting fabric squares out for a another rag quilt purse. He found a card to create, so I decided to play along tonight as well.
The Featured Stamper is Biggan and such creatively she has in her artistic cards. WOW! I chose this card to case LSC240 Christmas Tree by Biggan at Splitcoaststampers. It's a good thing I had the branches already cut out, so it helped me out.
I made a template on a scratch piece of paper and cut out. I used the cut out and laid it upon the red c/s. Sprayed adhesive on the card and quickly layed the branches onto the c/s. Then I stamped the lights with green and colored the bulbs with sharpies. I used the versamark pen, clear emboss powder, and heat set. Cut out using the kraft knife. As I put the lights on the tree with glue dots, I made little branches to overlap just a bit. I used my hole punch for the ornaments as well. I went back over the light trim with my gold metallic pen. I used the versamark pen and added glitter to the whole tree. The base of the tree is from a buckle punch and has 2 pieces of ribbon through it. I used a star punch on yellow glitter paper for the top of the tree. I went back over the CB swiss dots folder using the metallic gold pen too. I added ribbon, ticket corner punch, and secured onto gold metallic c/s. I finished this card by adding gold rhinestones.
