 | | Boy, I didn't think this card was going to make it. First off Steph, thanks for another great IC site! I came across this card last night that had this very cool bg. She listed the link so of course I had to check it out.
The bg was done by painting a small section on the cs with gesso and then applying a piece of newspaper, wait 15 -20 seconds then remove leaving some print behind. Keep doing it until the panel is covered. Then I took some acrylic paint, watered it down and painted it on the panel.
Stamped the trees on the bottoms with garden green and clear ep. The bus is from my friend Anne Ryan, colored it with copics and put crystal glaze the didn't want to dry on top.
Printed out a map on the computer, punched out the circles and layered with cs to make thicker. Put crystal glaze on top, never dried had to toss them. Redid the above only this time I versa marked and clear ep. Added the three green brads in the corners.
Got the mail and there was this envelope brightly colored yellow/gold so I cut it to size, sponged edges and layered it under my gesso bg putting all on a white card that I doodled the edges.
Oh yeah, the sentiment is from the computer and punched out with SU word punch. Well, hope you like my card.....TFL :0)
