CASEd a card by Janice Mercure from Sept issue of RubberStamper magazine. Took me a while to "Stampin Up-ize" it for an upcoming workshop.
Essentially it is a triptych card... then make a 3/4-inch long cut that is parallel to the bottom of the card where you want the bottom of the sleeve to be (mine is 2-inches down from the top). Before proceding with making the valley-fold, stamp the front of kimono. Fold what's below each sleeve to the inside of the card (score if first). Cut neckline. Add trim using 1/4-inch wide strips from paper in designer series 'Sweet'. Sash is a 3/4-inch wide strip from another sheet in the same designer series. Fan: Stamp a sheet of plain white printer paper in Bitty Blossoms; use paper trimmer & stylus to score vertical lines at 1/8-inch intervals then fan-fold. Tie bottom of fan off with thread, cut away excess paper below the thread, open top of fan; edge top of fan with write marker. Use a dimensional to attach fan over sash above ribbon.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

I absolutely LOVE this card! This sounds really ignorant, but HOW do you make this? I tried folding paper for an hour already and cannot figure this out...I'm new at card-making...do you happen to have a template you wouldn't mind sharing? My personal email is [email protected]
