I did this primarily with embossing. I stamped the snowman in Versamark and embossed with Zing Blue EP. I then cut it out with a Nestie. I found a blue that matched as close as I can find to the Zing blue. It is a Bazzill Bling color. Then I cut it using a nestie as well = one size bigger. Then I took the white card base and stamped it with this rubber mold I found in the clay aisle. There is no backing, and I guess I could back it, but it is really easy to just lay it down with texture side up, and cover with versamark, then I put the cardbase down on it. Then I embossed it with the Zing blue again.
My last bit of embellishment was to cover two different colored / same size buttons in Versamark and then the Zing Blue and heat them up. To get good coverage I let them dry for a couple of minutes and cool down, then repeated the embossing steps. Tied it with White DMC thread and mounted with Glue dots.
I will definitely use the embossing of buttons again, as they match perfectly, and I can then just buy one color of cheap buttons. YAY.
Thanks for looking.
