I saw the Midnight Madness sketch for this week and winced a bit - those curved corner pieces were a little daunting. So much so, that after several attempts, I ended up with a large rectangular panel instead, but was still able to keep the triangular center in the mix. Whew, I think I found my way out of this dilemma!!!
Try the sketch out and see what you come up with. You can view the sketch and link up info. from here:
I used some gorgeous BoBunny snowflake patterned paper, real red card stock, red and white glitter paper for all my panels and snowflakes. I used the snowflake circles ef on the rectangular panel. Punched a bunch of MS snowflakes using the glitter red and white paper I had and embellished them with a light blue pearl to match the colors of the patterned paper. I popped up the main panel and the scallop rectangular panel on dimensionals. I draped some wide ribbon across the top and bottom rather that using 2 separate ribbons on the bottom because it just seemed to fit nicely there, although it does cover up all the work I did to get that triangular piece of paper in there!! LOL!! I used the word window and modern label punches for the greeting. I was finished and noticed this bow I had been practicing on and thought it just happened to fit perfect in the left hand corner, so stuck it on with a glue dot.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and if you have a chance, let me know what you think!

Ah my flaky friend - two cards in one day! You're just a machine. Lovin' all those punched flakes on this one Pam... And look at that bow! A pretty daunting sketch indeed but you've pulled it together very beautifully. Love the colour scheme...

These colors are super together and you did an awesome job with that layout. The extras on here are super - I love that sentiment! I used "be merry" on one this week so it reminds me of that one although yours is so much more elegant and cool!
You must have the best Xmas card collection now - how many cards do you have done? I am so amazed...

Pamarina, I knew I would find a Christmas card if I came here tonight. Love that gorgeous wide ribbon and your pretty bow. Should I mention those pearls...your craft room must be half full of gorgeous pearls. I haven't been able to do the Midnight Madness sketch for two weeks. Afraid I won't get to next week either...maybe after that things will settle down a bit. I give your card an A+!
