This is prize week, so you might want to check it out and try creating a card to link!
I LOVE the Mojo sketches and chose to use this one for my other sister-in-law's birthday. She loves birds, so I thought this little bird would be perfect. I love using the Label 2 nesties because it reminds me of a window and who wouldn't love to see this little sparkly birdie outside your window? I stamped the image, then made another one and cut out the bird, colored it with markers, then dusted it with dazzling diamonds and popped it above the image for a 3-D effect. Okay, in my world birds really do "sparkle"!!!
My main panel ~love that tree patterned paper made by Bella Blvd~ and the side panel ~made by Daisy Bucket Designs~ were matted on baja breeze card stock which was popped up with dimensionals onto the very vanilla textured card stock. I used 3 layers of Label 2 nesties to coordinate with the colors of the paper and my little blue bird. I added sparkly ivory flowers with blue pearls, extra larger matching pearls per the sketch and some crochet lace around each corner of the main panel. I added tiny blue pearls to the greeting punch. I used the word window punch and modern label punch for the greeting.
I think that about covers it. I wanted so badly to EMBOSS some part of this card, but I wanted the cute little bird to stand out and though the embossing would take away from it.
Probaby much more info. that you wanted, I just got caught up in this cute paper and cute little bird, so thought I'd share.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and if you have a moment to comment, let me know what you think! Have a great week!

Tutti Fruitti, this is soooooo pretty! I am a bird lover and watcher but none of
mine sparkle. I love your cute, cute tree paper and how you popped up your bird. Now, where is your Christmas card for the day? I'm waiting. But, I am enjoying this beauty while I wait.

Pretty, pretty my dear Fruitflake... You are so very talented. Another lucky SIL indeed! Of course birds sparkle - are there some people who don't see it? Love the triple-layered nesties. Now that I have one shape of these fun little tools I think I need them all! I see you found your stash of pearls for this one... Catch ya later my Flaky Punch Pal...

What a beautiful card this is, Fruitcake. I just have to ask though, who did this for you? Whoever it was is worth their weight in gold, I'll tell you. Love the bird which just happens to be colored so well. Your SIL will love this wonderfully crafted! What? are those replacement marbles for the ones you've lost I dont know how long ago? I'll be on vacation for 2 weeks. I'll also be meeting Mutnik and Bertlady in Sacramento! Behave badly in my absence. Hey, hows the kitchen coming?
