I finally got to the SC252 challenge today. I decided to use a House Mouse image I received in a RAK from Twinshappy ~THANKS Stacy!!~ She sent me such cute House Mouse images and this one just happens to be - you guessed it - a Christmas image!! Yet another Christmas card in my gallery.
I struggled a bit with this one because I wanted to use patterned paper, but it kept overpowering the cute image and the image had a lot going on, so I opted for White, Certainly Celery and Real Red Card stock and embossed every layer. Hey, if I don't use patterned paper, then embossing is the next best thing, right?
I colored the image with markers and added glitter on the gifts and ribbon. I used the Merry Christmas circular greeting from the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set (SU), layered it circularly w/glitter and placed it on top of the left corner of the image with a dimensional. The 1st green panel, the scallop rectangle and rectangle image panel were all popped up on dimensionals.
And, you will be ever so proud of me as I only used one rhinestone and no pearls!!! I was going to leave the rhinestone off, but couldn't resist, so it will probably cost extra postage. What is it with this bling/pearl thing I have that sucks up all my money at the post office to mail???? I didn't add a ribbon as I didn't feel it needed any and the mice took care of that for me anyhow!! LOL!!
Wish the glitter would have photographed better. It just looks globby on the photo, but IRL it's just hints of sparkle!
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and if you have a quick moment to comment, let me know what you think!

I love this! These little mice are soooo cute! Love all your embossed layers and your glitter. I have a thing for rhinestones, too! They just add so much sparkle-I say, keep on adding the bling! (consider it a Christmas gift to the post office,LOL)

Pam, I saw this card on the gallery right after you uploaded and before I even saw your name, I was thinking that looks like a 'Pam' card and sure enough. Such a darling image from Twinshappy and you're right, the mice took care of the ribbon. Love your celery and red together. Nice color combo.
Also, like the glittery sentiment and the rhinestone is worth a little more postage. Another Christmas card down and how many to go???????? Love this one!

Look Ma - no pearls!!!! But it's still definitely a Pammy-Jo-Fruitcake card! And House Mouse - have I mentioned how cute I think they are?!? On stamps!! Fabulous job. There might not be any pearls but you got your punches workin' for ya girl! And I see you've lost your marbles again - looks like you've gone flakey instead...
