I too, was inspired by that crazy story out of Colorado about the boy in the weather balloon. So, since we are flying up North for the teapot party , why not go in style. My puppy here has accidentally fell in the rather large silver teapot. He was intrigued by the colorful balloons. Didn't know they where full of helium.
Jan, the in training reindeer, is trying to help him out. Good thing he is stuck on a dead tree by that worried snowman. Hopefully someone can grab the ropes before this thing really takes off......details....
Used dry embossing plates for the reindeer, snowman and tree on white cs. Colored with copics and sparkling mica paints. Put some tin foil on cs, embossed the teapot which was a fish bowl that I tweaked. hehe
Stamped, clear ep and copic colored the doggie, then cut out and put in the teapot.
Drew the snow hills, sponged the clouds, doodled all around and layered on orange cs then white card. Added the colorful balloons and twine. Well, fun time in the sky today!......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Up! Up!....and away!!! Maybe I'll make the news.

Cathy, I love your teapot and balloons. At first glance that looked more like a Joshua tree than a dead one to me. I was wondering how that snowman was not melting. That CA sun can be brutal for snowpeople. He better get in that balloon powered teapot and get up to a higher altitude. QUICK. I love the way your balloons look. Cute puppy!!!

What a wonderful Mutnik card. I don't know what I like best - the rather bewildered little puppy, Jan, the embossed balloons. And the converted goldfish bowl is so clever.

Jeez....when I was talking to Jan (in training) on the phone she sounded a little more competant...she's really quite the squirt, isn't she. No wonder she has not been chosen for flight yet.....If the northernly wind hit her cross-wise she might end up back in Colorado, where anything can fly......
Once again, you have aced this challenge....when I see you card loaded, I automatically start giggling...did you know you do that to me? The only one that looks like they might know what they are doing on your card is the lady bug in the corner. That is a lady bug isn't it, I know how you are SO obsessed with ladybug rescues!!
Your card rocks, your artistic ability is awesome and you best not miss any teaparties! Ya hear??
Hey Sis! Don't let anyone tell you that its not cool living in Colorado even if the balloon boy and his family are an embarrassment! We still have the Broncos in their goofy striped socks....even though the bozos lost!!!

Nutmeg, Mutnik, Cathy: this is too stinkin' CUTE!! I love that rosey-cheeked puppy, and I must agree that Jan looks too much like a squirt to be of much help. Love how you brought Jan, the puppy, the snowman, and the balloons all together with that shiny teapot! You rock, girl!
