This card is for the Teapot Tuesday challenge. This week we had a teaparty at the home of some people who, frankly, just don't get it. The husband is fixated on black and white and the wife is fixated on having color - most of this centers around their home decor. This week, I have really come to realize that we all focus on things that are really not important. Our wall colors, the latest TV show, what car we drive, eating at the coolest restaurant, the fact that our husband spends too much time golfing or hunting, what to get our kids for Xmas, cleaning, etc. I have been so guilty of this the last few years, then when I lost my job earlier this year and it took me over 5 months to find a new one, I started realizing how much silly and trival things were dominating my lfe. I thought I was doing a much better job focusing lately, but this week I had a friend who was diagnosed with four different kinds of cancer - one of which is prostrate. The outlook is not good although he is going to try and fight it. So, my card for this week is about kicking anything out of your life that causes stupid stress! I am wishing bubble baths, time with God and family, and me-time for all. I am also posting this to the Twisted Sister weekly challenge since they are focusing on cancer awareness. For anyone who has room on their prayer list - please add Jim and his family.
PS to PS - Thanks for the image - I love it so much that I bought it this week.

Sister, I am so thankful that you had those months to job search and make cards- that is when I met you! I also love how God spoke to your heart about priorities and getting what is important into focus. I love how your cards reflect your heart too, and this one is gorgeous! I love this flowery tub and the totally relaxed feeling it projects! You did a wonderful job sis. I am impressed with her hair color too! Wow- your coloring ROCKS, just like you! I will keep Jim in my prayers. TFS, LYS

Nancy, I will say a prayer for Jim. You are so right about priorities. We need to be more thankful for what we have than stressing about what we don't have. I am thankful for the blessing of our online friendship. HUGS!!!

Oh, I'd just so love to be in that bath. Bet it would smell as gorgeous as it looks.
You're right, we often get so stuck in our own lives and problems that we forget to look from a different perspective, let alone God's perspective, and see how minor our problems are compared to others. Yes, I know no job is NOT fun - been there, done that - but it's not life-threatening. I'll be praying for your friend and his family.

This is a sensationally gorgeous card! I'm so happy you joined our challenge!!! I have prayed for Jim and his family!
My cult mama is right - God works all things for good! I'm glad I met you too. I would climb into a huge bubble bath but some of the small people and furry things would not let me do it in piece!
