This card was made for todays Limited Supply Challenge (to use our local weather as inspiration - it's cloudy here today) and yesterday's Ways to Use it Purple challenge and Wednesday's sketch challenge.
I wasn't sure if doing an autumn scene would work with the amethyst background and clouds, but I like it. I used the Color Coach to help me pick my leaf colors and that helped. When I looked out my window I saw the cloudy sky and the still wonderful foliage on the trees across the street. I used a small pointed typewriter eraser to create the foliage. I'm considering trying one in just shade of purple if I have time.
To make a cloud stencil, I punched out a scallop oval from scrap paper and used that to make my clouds. Love how they turned out.
My 2-2 are
2 stamps
2 patterns of DSP
2 brads
What do you think? Do the colors work?

What a lovely card! Great idea for making the clouds! I think the colors all work wonderfully well together! Beautiful! Definitely a favorite!

How beautiful. I simply love the way you've coloured that image - so different to the way it's usually used. I'd vaguely wondered if something like that would work but was too lazy to experiment - now I know it most certainly does.
