The first card I made today was for an order, and I turned the sketch upside down. So here's one just for fun with the sketch the right way up. We've been having some beautiful weather here - sure, there are grey days, but we've had some lovely walks in the park on sunny ones.
A2, base covered with a dark purple Basic Grey (scored between each panel). The bottom strip is also Basic Grey, stamped with the wheat ears in brown and green inks. I distressed the top quite heavily and sponged it with yellow. My top panels are Lovely as a Tree, stamped with Memento black, grass sponged with green ink, sky with light blue, dark blue and purple chalks. Masked sun is orange ink. I cut it into thirds and mounted it on the base layer before adding the wheat strip.
Main panel was stamped with markers, (thumping on the body and tail), drew in some grass and sponged the sky and foreground. Wiped the edges with brown and mounted on some green Bazzill with distressed edges. Popped it up on foam and added a PTI sentiment stamped on a scrap of the sky, with two corn-yellow mini gems.
