Another TLC242 Easel cards for Thanksgiving. Great technique for displaying special cards. I jazzed this card up a bit by adding Copper Stickles to the veins of the leaves. I love how the Autumn Splendor stamp set goes with the Autumn
Meadows DP. Both from the SU Holiday Mini.
Be sure and check out Lynn's TLC242 site for the tutorial on Easel Cards. My cards are the exact same measurements. I used a large Glue Dot to raise and attach the buttons for a nice secure stop. My DH suggested I try the slit punch. "Don't you have a half circle punch?" I used it on another easel card by adding a piece of CS and DP, which I attached across and in the middle of the base at 2". Worked great.
Enjoy this card and this great technique...
