Ok I'll admit it here. I cheated. Blame it on my addiction to the challenges, blame it on my tired brain... Blame it on me not reading instructions.
I know we are supposed to start with a pre printed card as our base. Well, I know it now. I saw the words preprinted and freaked out. I never buy any preprinted cards. Then I thought of the cards that family has sent me that were preprinted. I sometimes will save them if I think I can repurpose them. I had this little daisies gift card that was with a bouquet of flowers from my mother in law. I loved the daisies. I cut out that panel and that is where my brain turned off. I guess, I could have made a little card as a base, but I was thinking of using it as a panel on my card. I decided to make my own matching dp. I brayered green ink on white cardstock. I then took white acrylic paint. I dipped the end of the handle of my paint brush in the paint to make the white dots. I also recycled the sparkly, glittery white from a card that my mother in law gave me for my birthday. I added two little white buttons because they reminded me of the white dots on the panel and dp.
It was as I was looking at my card and then rereading the challenge I saw that I cheated, but I liked how my card looked so I am uploading it to this challenge anyway!
WHOOOO....WHOOO....WHOO. I can hear the challenge police sirens....
