 | | Here's my card for this week's clean & simple challenge. This week were to create a card using the thumping technique.
To create my tree image I used the thumping technique and the following marker colors: Ruby Red, Bravo Burgundy, Old Olive, Mellow Moss, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, and Pumpkin Pie. It seems like a lot of colors, but they blended so well together.
My sentiment is from SU's Thoughts & Prayers stamp set. I wanted the sentiment to stamp across the card, so I colored the words using my SU marker and then I stamped it along the bottom, then again I colored the second half of that sentiment stamp and them stamped it again so that my wording was together all in one row.
I've added some paper piercing in each corner of my tree image and my ribbon is from Offray.
