All paper/card is Stamping Up! Colors used are Close to Cocoa, Crushed Curry, Basic Black and Designer Series Paper "Night and Day." Inks used are Stazon Jet Black, SU! Chocolate Chip and Crushed Curry.
I used a brayer to roll Crushed Curry over the center panel and then crumpled it up, ironed it and rolled Chocolate Chip over the surface. To knock it back I sanded it front.
The two crows are stamps I carved from rubber I picked up at a nearby arts store and carved them using wood carving knives. I glued them to wood blocks and then stamped them. I added the telephone wires using a sewing machine.
The recipe is printed on Crushed Curry which is then distressed and matted to torn black card. The recipe title placard is printed and punched from SU! Modern Label punch and pop-dot applied.
The moon was done using the "serendipity" technique where by you randomly apply strips of pattern and metallic paper and cover with Terrifically Tacky tape. I mixed small crystal beads with SU! Green Micro Beads to create a spooky, out-of-this-world look.
I rounded the corners of the 6"x6" card and distress them. The black card matte was torn using a deckel ruler.
