I was inspired by this little dragonfly flying at sunset with the flowers. To get my background I used my brayer. I used Adirondack -cabin fever ink. I stamped my dragonfly and flowers with black stazon. I used my itty bitty background to add so extra dimension. I added three little black brads and matted the image with black and brown. cardstock. I really like how this turned out. It was the first time that my dragonfly had seen ink and I have had it since Jan.

Wow - your card is fabulous! I am seriously going to break down and get a brayer! May get one today. This is so pretty and I can so see your inspiration piece too - super job as usual! I am so jealous that you do your cards like this where everyone can see the inspiration and your card together - you will have to teach me how to do that!

Gorgeous MariLynn. You did a spectacular job nailing today's challenge. I love that speckled background, the colors used in it and your fabulous image. I love the image and especially that dragon fly. Wonderful. To answer your question from the other day, we usually do our fall leaf thing in the Payson area. Probably because we have several frineds who have vacation homes in the area so we usually make a day of visiting too.

How beautiful! You'll be using that little guy a lot, now that it's been inked up!! I love that you put your inspiration up beside what you did....makes comparisons so much easier. Now three of us have done it....and I hope we inspire more to do it too. Great job, MariLynn. So beautiful!!
