This is a scrapbook page of our son's namesake Great Uncle Jack with his parents. Great grandma was a sweet heart and this poem describes her to a "T". It was a free download from Crafty Secrets.
The poem entitled Mother's love was written in 1893 by Poe. It reads:
"I feel in the heavens above,
The angels, whispering to one another,
Can know, among their burning terms of love,
None so devotional as that of mother."
The booklet was with Uncle Jack's belongings and was published in 1888 and filled with words of wisdom. I can't help but think it was his family's dream for him to be successful. Although he didn't have many possessions he was rich in character and as parents we would be pleased if our son was half the man his great uncle was.
Thanks For Taking A Look!

What a wonderful tribute. It looks worthy of framing even!
