A coworker requested a sympathy card, this one was a simple one that wasn't too taxing on my tired teaching brain.
I used the clean & simple's blog fall-to layout #52. I stamped the Unity flower and Verve sentiment in Versafine grey ink onto PTI Vintage Cream. I used Martha Stewart's cornice border punch for the grey border, as well as on the end of the sentiment. I used Martha's butterfly punch to punch a butterfly from a glittery-textured paint sample (from Lowe's). And then the punch stopped working. Back to Michaels. I attached the butterfly with a brad and called it a night!

HOW do you ever find time to stamp with you busy schedule Meg? Very nice elegant sympathy card. Those are the most difficult kinds to make I think, because the reason you need one is sad. Bummer about your punch breaking - hope they replace it without a problem!!
