okay, okay, KRistin, you totally called this one from me! we learned a new technique with chalks at the Cinci Regionals on 8/12. scrape off a bit of chalk in to an empty container, add a bit of water, disolve the chalk and then add crystal effects. You get the effects of water coloring, but with the added glazed look of the crystal effects. It really is way cool! so there's my chalk challenge for the Wicked Challenge. check out my blog for a detail shot of the shine. www.mylittlecreativeescape.blogspot.com

This is really cool! I am totally going to use both the rhinestone brad/ribbon trick AND the chalk/CE thingy. Very cool. Yea!
Thanks! You have made me really happy tonight.

Lisa this is beautiful!! Your flowers look wonderful! I am not much of a technique person, but I am going to have to give this a try! Love your ribbon treatment too!)

Ooh, Lisa I love this! Almost didn't see it (I've been checking the WICKED folder)- looks even better here than your blog since I can see more detail. Love that brad on the ribbon!! Will be trying this!

Stunning card. So much attention to detail. Really love it. First, that technique looks quite wonderful--must give it a try. Then the ribbon is gorgeous--must give it a try. Then your choice of colors: bermuda bay and night and day dsp and white--must give that a try. And finally, as if there's not a lot already going on, the white run through the embossing folder for just an added little touch--must give that a try.
Thanks for inspiring me and for a lovely creation.
