This old song, Teddy Bear Picnic, by Bratton/Kennedy, is what came to my mind when I read about Cindy's teaparty today :

Does anyone else remember this song?
My bears are coming to the picnic bringing chips. And what is a picnic without ants...? Well, they are bringing a burger and watermelon. The chips, watermelon, ants and burger are all stickers that have been in my stash for like forever. I don't know who made them. My Gruffies Wheelbarrow Ride is what came to mind when I thought of bears today.
I chalked my sky and erased for the clouds. I colored my image with prisma colored pencils.
I hope the bears leave some potato salad, some pie and lemonade...

We used to sing this song when I taught kdg. and first grade. There is a book also which is great fun.
What's few ants among friends! Your Gruffles name gave me a giggle.
Like the scene you have created. From the looks of your beautiful sky we have a nice day for our picnic.

Oh MariLynn, I laughed when I saw this cute card! Don't know who is working harder; the bear pushing the wheelbarrow or all those little ants carrying the food! Just precious this is!

Love this card - the bears are wonderful as are the ants. I like your sky method too - I have never tried that one but will have to soon. I am thinking I will skip the burgers and chips today - I have put on a couple of pounds this week and all..... maybe there will still be some tea left over after all these bears, ants, raccoons and such at the teaparty. Great job as usual! BTW - I am packing up that special box today!

I have to say that song jumped straight into my mind this morning too. But now that I see your little ants raiding the food, I can hear the sound track for a Tom and Jerry cartoon where Spike and Baby Spike go on a picnic, and there are lots of little marching ants. Looks like a perfect day for a picnic where you are. Blue skies and enough cloud for it not to be too hot.

Well, I see dat da Muddermark finally is totally schnockered and she's got Dawn's sweet bear pushin' her 'round whilst she munches on doritos. Look at her bein' so careless with the burgers and watermelon; doesn't she know there are starvin' cubs in this world? Jeesh!

This is so cute. I don't remember that song at all. It is perfect music for the forest adventure. Your choice of stamps is perfect. I love the clouds. What is a picnic without ants. We have fire ants here and they sting. OUCH.. Great job.

Hey, wassa matter with that bear in the wheel barrow? Is he just lazy or sumthin? I would be charging him a pretty penny to be pushing him around in the forest...specially when he's eating all the chips! Your coloring rocks! Awesome card...are they uploading faster these days???
