This is CASED from a purse my upline found at a garage sale. I took hers apart to see how it was done, then made my own. I think it is sooooo darn cute! My 8 year old DD really, really wants it! This is basically an 8 1/2 x 11 piece with triangle cuts in the side which is folded with an eyelet on the side to hold it closed and to put the ribbon through for the handle. The flap is a separate piece that is added to the back with other colors to compliment it. The square and diamond shapes work to hold the purse closed.

I just posted 3 templates for the purse in the templates gallery. They are in my gallery too. One is the purse itself. The other two are the lids. Have fun!
