Using Stephanie Luman's tutorial again, I made this card for my niece Mimi who is turning 21 and attends Kansas State University (hence, the purple flowers). Please see Stephanie's wonderful tutorial, she makes these cards a breeze!
Believe it or not, there are only five brads holding this all together and this is the most sturdy flowerpot card I have made yet! The flowers are doubled, backed with a leaf and the brad holds it all to the card stock. I wrapped some beaded and wired stems around the back of each flower and then applied the yellow punched flowers with zots. The flowerpot rim is a Top Note.
The inside reads 'Someone like you should be celebrated everyday' and is from a retired SU set. The metal bird nest charm is from Michael's.
Happy Birthday Mimi! Love you, mean it! XXXOOO

OOOOOOHHHHH, Pat! This is over the top GORGEOUS! I knew I had a gazillion silk flower stems in my craft room for a reason ... I feel yet another CASE coming on.
Guess I'm gonna' be hanging out in your gallery doing some copy-catting this weekend! Thanks for the link to the tutorial, too. That birdsnest charm is, ahem, ever so charming!

Gosh - I had to ask myself: is it real or Memorex? That arrangement looks so real. This is one of your prettiest cards - she is going to love it and remember it forever. Wow......
