Using Stephanie Luman's tutorial again, I made this card for my niece Mimi who is turning 21 and attends Kansas State University (hence, the purple flowers). Please see Stephanie's wonderful tutorial, she makes these cards a breeze!
Believe it or not, there are only five brads holding this all together and this is the most sturdy flowerpot card I have made yet! The flowers are doubled, backed with a leaf and the brad holds it all to the card stock. I wrapped some beaded and wired stems around the back of each flower and then applied the yellow punched flowers with zots. The flowerpot rim is a Top Note.
The inside reads 'Someone like you should be celebrated everyday' and is from a retired SU set. The metal bird nest charm is from Michael's.
