The faux torn layers background with the reverse masking is a favorite technique of mine. Always looks so cool!
So, used a large post-it note, tore all the edges...then stamped the background twice in two different directions in Chocolate chip. Then sponged Soft Suede to fill in the gaps...Then I shifted the edge of the post it on all sides and sponged the inside with chocolate chip.
The faux hardware is made with punches. I silver embossed a scrap, and then used the word window punch to cut in the center of the embossed scrap, and then the Modern Label (which I just got!) to frame the word window. Makes an awesome frame! Then I punched the 1/4" circles, and cut each in half to get the "screw heads"
I probably should color in the truck, but I wanted to keep it simple, I am a bit tired, and I don't want to ruin it honestly.
Anywho, yay! I enjoyed this! Hope you do too.

Wow, Amy! Great detail in your description. I would have had a hard time envisioning your process without your explanation. Thanks.
I really think your truck looks great uncolored. I mean, you have screw heads on there, too, so it shouldn't be too polished, right? Those are brilliant.
