August usually brings the hottest days of the year (in our neck of the woods...yours too?). 11Valerie11 challenged us to create a design to reflect the "Dog Days of Summer." We were to use a doggy theme, with hot summer colors...no flock or fuzzy allowed.
Here's my take on the challenge. My son's new pup, "Harley," usually deals with the hot weather by lying on the cool floor. So, with the pic of Harley in mind, I created a frame.
I pulled out my Copic reinkers once again, and began to play with a frame that I had purchased ages ago...not even sure where from. I dotted four colors of reinkers onto the linen textured frame, creating this result.
I used some black micro fine glitter for the lettering and bones.

Your frame turned out gorgeous, Deb, and what a beautiful furry friend!!! Such a cute the little brad with the paw print, too...your DS is going to love this!!!!
