This lighthouse set is the first stamping set that I owned. I love it but don't use it enough. Thanks Cindy for the push to get the dust off of it and used.
Today we are going to Peggy's Cove to the lighthouse. I have never been there, so of course I had to google it and read up. I learned a lot this am. I like the folk story that says it was named after a sole survior of a ship that sank. Her name was Margaret, but was called Peggy. It is my fear of ships sinking... think the Titantic... that will keep my feet on solid ground. That and the fact that I never learned how to swim. So I will be tending the nets and watching what has been already caught so something doesn't happen to our fish.
But while I am waiting for those on the boats, I was thinking of going to the little teashop and having a bowl of clam chowder with a piece of fresh baked bread with lots of butter, and what ever the dessert of the day is. Anyone else want to join me?
This card was made possible by Krischir. A couple of weeks ago, she sent me a RAK. She gave me the die cut shape and she also gave me a piece of screen. I used that screen to make my fishing net. Thanks Kris.
My sand dollar was stamped on handmade paper.

So I will need lessons from you Marilynn for that screen. You worked it very well. Love the die cut too. Great lighthouse image too. What a beautifuly coloured seaside scene! Great to see you always Marilynn. Love the starfish embellie too.
I have a few lifesavers in the lighthouse you can use, but don't worry, I can have some chowder with you and you can share my fish tea! It's really good.

Marilynn, what a wonderful little card this is! Kris sent you the perfect little tag for your wonderful seaside scene! I got one of those little screen thingys too from Kris and you have inspired me to make a mental note to make a fishie card with a net and use my screen....in other words, case your card! Giggle!
Did you bring some of your yummy treats? The girls are wanting sweets as usual!!!! Hee! Bertie brought M & M's but somebody used them as bait!!!!

I have a feeling that tea and snack are going to have to wait.....you have some birds there that you have to shoo away...they have caught the scent of the incoming fish and they are thinking the fish are for them......uh oh...start waving your hands....

I love that we used the same lighthouse too...thought I had mentionned it Marilynn. You know how historians are. They don't know a thing about the "real" stories anyway! LOL

The screen is a great net, and I love those sand dollars you make. I know we are in Nova Scotia, but with all those seagulls and boats I am reminded so much of a holiday we spent with friends in Cornwall. I love your little scene.

I am so hungry - I will join you!
I love all the extras on here - you did an amazing job. I especially like your coloring and that sand-dollar is great.
My lighthouse stamp that I used is one of my first ones too - it is great to be able to use these oldies but goodies. How great you used a RAK too and checked off three challenges - you are so good at that.
