I had limited time this morning, being that I had to get to Nova Scotia and all!!! So I paper pieced a simple little lighthouse scene. I specifically bought the Ruche Crepe paper to use as water one day, so it was fun to break open that pack of paper! The other blue is a Micro Sparkle, the sand and rocks are in Currency.
I'm not very happy with this and, in retrospect, think I should have brought fish to the party instead! We do need 42,000 of them afterall! LOL
I need to get myself to work, so I'll comment later.
Have a great day!

Hey girls! M is here! Watch out don't slip on that big fish! We gotta getta couple of girls to hoist him up to the second level where the fish are being stored!
You did good with limited time! This card is awesome. I love the little scene you created with paper....I don't think you shoulda gone with fish! We are quickly reaching the 42,000 pound quota and an extra lighthouse or two is a good thing! Its either that or take the fish out to sea in BOATS!!! yikes!
So good to see you here again! Come back now soon as you get that darn work outa the way! We will have a fish fry? Hey girls! Anyone know how to get guts outa fish???

Very pretty paper piecing M. I so love how you were inspired by the lighthouse teapot. Love the sandy beach colours! Great fun is to be had here today, so do come back when you're work day is over. I've got some special fish tea. It's really good.

ah.....simple is PERFECT......lighthouses have a simple but vital purpose.......and with all the fish around for the tea party, a bit of creative simplicity is just what we need....

Shabby!! No way. Your water paper is perfectly watery, the texture on the lighthouse is perfect - I am sure I've seen ones not too dissimilar, and if I'd been able to come up with rocks as good as that for mine to sit on, I'd have been a lot happier.
Sorry I never took the time to say Congratulations on being the Featured Stamper.

Well Miss M, there are plenty of fish in this little scene here. You just can't see them because they are IN the water! LOL I just love your paper pieced lighthouse here. Very clever and so well done. Looks like a puzzle picture. You need to frame this beauty.....or maybe send it to a friend.....hint hint. Love your card. TFS :0)
