When I saw that today's Ways to Use It challenge was all about variegated color, I immediately thought of my Kaleidacolor ink pads. My favorite image to use with a variegated ink pad is this retired set from The Angel Company. I think that the grass growing in a teacup image and the Fresh Greens Kaleidacolor pad were made for each other.
I went with a very quick CAS card today. Stamped a collage background--the bees were stamped with gold ink, the sentiment says "The one who plants a garden plants happiness." I stamped the teacup image on white cardstock and cut out around it. I realize now that I should have mounted it on dimensionals. Oh, well--next time!!
Thanks for looking!
Emily

Emily, this is FABULOUS!! I love those gold bees, and a kaleidacolor pad was the first thing I thought of too! Great color choices, and I had to laugh a little........all I could think of was 'chia pet' when I saw the grass growing out of the cup!!! Great job, gf.

Goodness, why didn't I think of my multicolour Brilliance pad. This is perfect with the young green shoots at the tips of the grass. Now, if it were mustard or cress...then it would be delicious to eat as well as to look at.
