A Demonstrator's Grave

Photo Details
Poster: cindy_canada

It has long been established that my tombstone would read, "Need had nothing to do with it." I have closets full of clothes, of stitching patterns and of crafting supplies to tell the story...

I took out the invitation part of the stamp so that I could write whatever I want on the tombstone and get more mileage out of this stamp set. I have a few ideas that I'd like to put to paper when I have a minute.

To create the background, I dry-embossed the patterned paper (Cast-a-Spell) with the Finial Press embossing folder and stamped the Medallion bg in black afterwards. This gave the medallion a nice texture and highlighted the embossing as well.

TFL!

Great card! Love your sentiment (I think we can all agree to that on SCS!) and I love all those rich details-the embossing/medallion, the torn paper layer, that great ribbon.

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing (cutting out the insides) when I got this set.
