I was very excited to do this one because the stamp set was a gift I received after winning the Hanna Stamps sketch contest last month. I love new stamps, and I love free new stamps even more!!!
For this one, I picked some patterned paper leftovers I thought would work well with the main image, then gave my Copics a try. I have bought some Copics recently and have only colored with them a few times so far, so I am still very new to them.
The ribbon and red ribbon buckle actually come from PJs I bought last year. The ribbon was wrapped around them and I kept it for future craft projects. It was just the perfect colour and width here, and to embellish the buckle even more, I added a Making Memories Christmas charm I've had for a while now.
The tag was stamped twice: one on green paper and once on white. I colored the white gift, colored it, then popped it up on Dimensionals. I added a sentiment ("A Gift From Me") and then a sparkly brad (Making Memories) on the tag as well.
If you look very closely, you might be able to see that I have dry embossed some tiny little dots all around the main image. To do so, I used a piercing template I have that has circles of different sizes. I just placed the template over my image, flipped it around and used the Empressor to emboss the circles. It looks even prettier than I thought and such of finish off the main panel in a subtle and elegant way.
TFL!
