Today the Teapot Party is the Tour de France...and if you check out Mothermark's blog, you'll see the teapot that inspired the story.
What fun to sit all morning with lace and brads and flowers and make a scene to go with my story. Do you see my snail? She is sitting in the shade, feeling the rumble under her shell of hundreds of bicycles...she is thinking about venturing out to see what all the ruckus is...should she or shouldn't she??
Thanks for looking, and come out and play if you can!!

Super pretty card! I love the lace and ribbons and flowers and of course, the cute little snail! I think she better stay safe under the tree so there isn't an accident! Wonderful colors and design!

Traci, this is so cute. I hope your little snail stays under the tree. She should be safe there unless one of member of the TTT stops to sit under the tree to catch her breath. (That would be me. I can't imagine biking in the mountains let alone flat ground.) I love how your clouds look.

I say with a colorful place like you have created that snail should stay put! Gotta love that tree. Maybe some Tuesday we should have tea in this garden.

I thought Sabine was a girl snail...hmmm...musta been a boy name! Hey, Traci! So glad you could come! I love your little card and I think you might have the smartest snail of the bunch. Most of them have been hiding in the grass, grass can be run over quite easily. Coming from a family of bikers and knowing what they will do to avoid interaction with a tree, me thinks your little snail will be the survivor! You see where I am going with this? You're snail is no dummy!
Although, if one apple breaks loose off that tree, your little snail's plan to steer clear from the bikers is all for naught! Cuz you know the apple is gonna land smack dab in the middle of the snail! That's just the way it goes!
So glad you got to come to Paris....I love the lace, flowers and brads you chose to dress up this little scene! Its precious! OOh, be careful! There's that one in the yellow jersey, he means business I tell ya!

No! Don't let your dainty and pretty little snail out; didn't you see the Giant Snail right next to ya in the gallery? I think your pretty little lady would be reeeeeeally skeered if she ventured out. Let her continue to live in her fairyland with pretty trees full of luscious apples.
This is so pretty, Traci! I love how you did the ribbon/lace treatment and am glad you got to relax and play today. Me? Oh, my day has been totally different, and I am very late for an important date!!

She most definitely shouldn't venture out - she should stay safely tucked under that beautiful tree covered with apples or whatever. Just so long as it's not too windy - we wouldn't want one blowing off and landing on her and crushing her beautiful green shell. Oh - reading back I see Cindy thinks the same. She'd better find a middle path of compromise somewhere - tucked up in the lace? No self-respecting cyclist on the Tour will go near the lace, no matter how pretty it looks on the card.

Love your happy card! If your snail is smart, she will stay right where she is!
