There was so much inspiration yesterday. Today, with a less sore shoulder and more time, I've finished off two cards that I started working on yesterday.
This one is inspired partly by this Grand Elephant print and also this cute elephant. The background of the cute one made me think of faux silk, but my theme is more based on the first poster.
I was trying to recreate Stamper Dog's faux silk with a pop, but DH was using my PC and I didn't remember it properly. What I did was spritz some tissue with Tattered Straw reinker diluted, and then crumple it up. I stamped the elephant on white card with grey ink and cut it out. Then I stuck it to a base piece of white card, and used spray adhesive to stick the dried tissue paper over it. I tore it down to size, distressed the edges and stuck it onto some travel-themed collage paper, and then stamped Pocket Silhouettes on it with dark brown ink. I added an epoxy photo corner, and a homemade folio closure. For the folio closure I used my leftover faux denim scraps; the brads are from Styled Silver HH, but I wiped them with copper ink and embossed with clear EP. Added some hemp stitching at the top corner. Then I made a little shrink plastic sentiment with a Hero Arts stamp and attached it with a brad. Distressed the edges of the collage paper, sponged them and stuck onto an A2 card base.

Sabrina, your details are amazing. Love your crumpled tissue. Before I read your description I was staring at it wondering what kind of exotic hand made paper it was!
Love all your details, girl, and have never seen an epoxy photo corner before. It works!
