This is my card for the inspiration challenge. When I saw the sample on the right, I knew right away what I wanted to do. I never even made it over to the website to check it out.
The completed flower image was on my desk, so I took advantage of that and just cut it out.
I grabbed a piece of old piano music from a practice book (rummage sale find) and tore a piece off for my card.
All the layers are edge sponged lightly with creamy caramel. The background layer is embossed in my cuttlebug. The knot is 3 natural colors of hemp

I think you were probably right to stick with Stef's pick and not get lost in the site - especially with such a lovely card as this to show for it. I like the tied hemp particularly.

This is beautiful!! I love your colors--and how you repurposed on old piano practice book!! That's fab. Beautiful image, and great use of the hemp knot and buttons as embellishments. Great job on the challenge!!
