I stamped the bird on dp and printed the sheet music to Ave Maria over it. I also stamped two flourishes. I colored the bird with my primsa colored pencils. I added a ribbon and a rhinestone.
I made this card partly because of today's inspiration and partly from a documentary on music that I was watching with my kids a few days ago. My kids were laughing at me because I was arguing with the tv. A scientist said that music was a human invention... blah, blah, blah, blah, blah... I was asking him (on the tv) Have you ever heard birds sing?
So here is my bird song card. What do you think?

What a great card!! I like this style of card that Stephanie has suggested for today. I think it is really neat and creative that you used song music behind the bird. Very pretty!!

I agree, I think there is a lot of music in nature. I love hearing the birds sing - though I could do without magpies and crows sometimes. But your bird will be singing the sweetest song .

Lovely card MariLynn. You sure know how to make "beautiful". Love all the elements and I am biased to that blue bird of course. Because blue is my favorite color you know. Awesome card. TFS
