Stef gave us a great site to look for our inspiration. I wasn't inspired by any particular card, but more by the style of Sarah Collier. I knew right away that I wanted to use a vintage pattern for the base of the card. I searched the internet and found this old Butterick pattern. I scanned it into Microsoft publisher. I sized it down to card size. I then added the Dr. Seuss quote. I printed it on tan cardstock to give it a vintage feel. I then stamped flowers and flourishes over the top. I used prisma colored pencils to add some color. I added a rhinestone brad and some little rainbow glass beads. This isn't my usual style, so this was a real challenge, but I really like how this card turned out.
What do you think of my card?
