I'm late, I'm late, I'm very very late...for the teapot party...is there any left for me??? Congratulations my dear MotherMark on your 1 year anniversary with teapot...you have a lot of 'em. I'm still trying to get that Sumo booty out of my mind.
My card covers a trio of challenges today, the CC224, the 365 Card Blog challenge to paper piece and of course the freakin' party over at the palace. I know the Queen probably has her panties in a bunch over the shananagains MotherMarks' crowd are pulling. If you notice, MotherMark managed to get into the Queen's closet and find that fancy crown with the feathers (I just can't tell you what the Queen really uses that crown for...), Kelly, you better take good notes for that infamous list of yours...and MariLynn, so faithful and true is probably in the corner videotaping all the etiquette violations. Mutnik is checking out the indoor swimming pool. And then there's me, Southern born and well versed in the proper use of the pinkie!!!
Thanks very much for the invite...and your comments, oh, I so love to read them. Come join us and when you're done my home is always open one4joydaily

Do say hi to the Queen for me......... and your card is freakin wonderful!! I see that you are planning for quite a crowd by the size of your stacked teacups!! Enjoy Susan!

I have just returned from vacation and it sounds like I missed a wild and crazy tea party. Was there a girl named Alice attending?? Your usual creative and whimsical card, Susan, with a somewhat mysterious background. This is lovely so I better get going on my own challenge card since I have an extra day off before returning to work. Shhh, don't tell the boss I am home. Hugs to you. K

Susan, I love your card. I think we are going to have to do the dishes now. I think we upset the Queen's staff. They just piled up all the dirty cups on your table and walked out in a huff. We'll have to draw straws to figure out who is going to do the dishes, because we know the Queen can't do them. I love the colors on your card. I was drawn right away to the curly red ribbons.

HI SUSAN! Glad you are here, now STOP stacking up the Queen's FINE CHINA! You are going to get us in trouble! I just told Charlene that I am plum out of cash to bail any more people out! And the NAUGHTY LIST is so big right now it won't even fit into my purse....and TOPS on the list is Cindy who said (gasp) that these parties are "not real"...oh, and I suppose she is going to say there is "no such thing as..."....well I can't even type any more of that sentence because I have a direct line to Mr. C and he would not be happy!
You are doing good so far with the pinky-raising, that cool fab red embellie elevated your card to masterpiece status, and you have not yet tackled anyone in line! So keep up the good work today!

How lovely to see the ostrich feathers - they remind me of some of the old UK coins. I have a great book all about the last official season when Debutantes were properly presented to the Queen. (Conncection, the debs used to have ostrich feathers...) We even have a video of a progam based on the book - but we have no video player because we don't have a television. DH watched it with his mother, I just have to find somewhere else to go and someone else to watch it with. And do my eyes mistake me - those look very like the Tudor roses on some of those cups.
