I am so happy to be celebrating the one year anniversary of the Tea Pot Challenge! It has been really alot of fun! Please check out Mothermark's blog where you can learn all about it: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/
Well I just couldn't wait to get to the tea party today. When I got up I checked my email to see what the challenge was today... everyone started yelling at me as we were going to be late for the bus. Ok, so now it's 8:30 am, I know the challenge, but I have no supplies .... oh boy... a trip to Michaels is in order. I drag my 3 year old with the promise of a toy and I get my supplies! I got the castle, the little bear sticker, and the gold leafs... I got more stuff, but I think that is going to be for card #2. Did you ever have more idea's in your head then fit on the card? Geez! I need two cards again this week!
To CINDY: What a beautiful card you made! I don't know how you do it! I just want to thank you (and all your funny tea party ladies) for such fun and laughs! It has crossed over now to My Mom (yellobug60) and my daughter! We all can't wait to see what the challenges are on Tea Pot Tuesday! (Next week I am going to be at Hershey park with the kids... oh no! We should have changed the dates to accomadate the Tea Party !!! Snort!)
So here my little bear is already for the tea party at the Castle..... Much nicer than the barn with swine flu and with the butt ugly sumo wrestlers! No back doors this week!

What a great card! I love the castle and the darling guard! You captured the occasion perfectly! Aren't these parties so much fun? And this week we even got to travel and meet the Queen! Glad you could make it to the tea party on this special week!

Maureen, your little bear is so adorable. He is perfect for your teaparty card. I love how you got the castle in there too. I know what you mean about needing seconds. There have been several teaparties where I showed up more than once. I will miss you next week, but Hershey park sounds like a lot of fun. I hope you get to make wonderful memories with your kids!!

What a perfect card for the #52 Teapot Party of Mothermarks! You found just the right supplies on your little shopping trip. Love how you put this whole card together and was able to fly over to the party. Another fun time will be had by all I am sure. I see we have extra security on the job! TFS :0)

Oh - claps hands - wonderful. Your gold-leaf leaf, your picture-perfect castle and that totally adorable bear. Shhh - don't tell Mutnik, but I think yours looks a lot better than she does. But how can someone disguising themselves as a bear hope to look like the real thing. Have a really great holiday next week, and come back all refreshed for the tea-party the week after.

Maureen, you can hang with Bertie anytime, gf! I like your spunk. AND, I love your totally ADORABLE card! I'm so glad you were able to be at the party today. Isn't England a blast? Just don't listen to MariLynn telling lies about Bertie stealing that necklace, though, okay? Bertie did NOT steal that necklace. The Queen GAVE it to her! Yup. It's true. Honest! It seeems that Bertie's got some English ancestry/nobility in her blood, so that The Queen wanted her to have a special gift of remembrance for her trip to the castle.
All the gals at the tea party are great....some of 'em got a little sauciness to them...like Miss Rose, and some of 'em shouldn't be trusted with needle and thread....like da Muddermark....and some of them do weird things like trying to disguise themselves as a silly bear....like Mutnik (but be careful around Mutnik cause she'll get you sent to jail quicker than you can say Mutnik!) and some of 'em keep naughty lists for Santa....like Schirmcat----oh, jeesh! I could just go on and on, but I think you get the gist. They are all great gals and fun to party with!
I'll miss you next week unless da Muddermark takes the tea party to Hershey Park, and, if that's the case, I'll see you there!

Hershey Park here we come! We like chocolate! We can do chocolate syrup, and chocolate sprinkles, and chocolate pudding! Now I just gotta find a Hersey teapot so we can be inspired! Snort!
I love that this is becoming a family affair for you and your Mom and Daughter! I welcome your whole family! Its good to have a Mom around too, sometimes they are more sensible and can point out what the ramifications of our actions would be, although sometimes they are ring leaders too! Snort!
I felt so bad that my post didn't post earlier for you! Issues, always issues! I love your card! I think your bear could give Mutnik's bear a run for its money! Your supplies were perfect and you should get an award for shopping before stamping and making it on time! Whoo Hoo! You card is so cute and so appropriate for today, my one year birthday! Hey, that's my excuse, I am only one today! How could I have any manners much less control the tea partiers!
Thank you so much for your kinds words. I look forward each week to seeing you! Hugs...

Oh boy I am going to miss you next week. Hey take your laptop...or maybe we all can go to Hershey Park...like Bertie and Miss Charlene said...a spot of tea in Hershey Park would be delightful. If you noticed I picked up an English Accent. I am so polished now. Miss Rose had to soak her pinkie in some hot water tonight since she was using it so much at the Castle. Do you think that Bertie's got some English ancestry/nobility in her blood, or do you believe MariLynn that she stole the necklace? Hmmm.... A mystery...hey..Agatha Christie is from England...I think I will give her a call. She will solve this mystery!
Love you for Always
