Yesterday was an exciting day for me...I sold some cards to one of the gorgeous boutiques that buy my cards and I reached a total of 720 cards sold in total. I am constantly amazed that people like them enough to buy them...but I am not complaining and will always endeavour to produce cards that are unique and timeless....evolving on an ongoing basis...I am sure this will come as no surprise to a lot of you, these Emerson girls, well any Emerson girls, are very popular! I sell to three different shops and each shop has it's own 'flavour' in cards....but they all love the quirkiness of the Emerson girls...infact one owner commented thay they appeal to the ladies from 40 upwards, as they can identify!! Well...I guess that is my reality check as I L-O-V-E them!!
I am attempting to get ahead with these humourous cards...if all three shops wanted some at the same time, I would have to go into 'panic mode' and that is not 'purty!' So I am once again cruising the challenges for inspiration and using them to keep me motivated when having to so duplicates!!! Mind you, I have told my ladies that my cards are unique and although I may make some similar, none are exactly the same, they are all unique in one way or another...so that makes it better for me AND gives me artistic licence - PHEW!!! So I have made these cards for theMojo Monday Challenge ...I have to laugh as my MOJO could not be any lower than it has been over the last few days, I guess that it can be put down to a lot of things happening that have taken my mind to other places....but I am determined to press on with them even though I feel like everything is looking the same lately, so please bear with me -
The cards are pretty self explanatory, with the images being chalked and paper pierced and distressed around the edges...blah, blah, blah...you know how it goes!
Thank you for looking, it makes my day to see your comments on my cards...thank you for taking the time - have a great day!!

Do you mind if I ask how much do you charge??
I have made them and just end up giving them because I dont know how much to charge.

LOL, I love these too, Linda, and your cards are fabulous! Way to make the multiples, too!!! I made a card back in March with this image that you sent to me, and then life got crazy and I never did upload. Thanks for the great inspiration!!!!

Gosh..I love them both so much. If I had to choose, I guess I'd choose the one with the black swirly thingy! But then again...... Oh my gosh, I'm acting as if I'm 40 and up and can't make up my MIND!!! Selling your cards in three different shops has got to be a major high! I'd love to be able to do that too!

720!!!! Wow Linda you are going to town! That has got to feel so good to see people buying your art! Your cards are so beautifully done too. I love the swirly thingy and the sassy sentiment. (Over 50 likes 'em too!) Lol.

I don't think they're looking the same as each one has its own mojo going Linda. I can see why these cards are so popular. You've done a fabulous job and I like both cards very much!!! I guess now that I'm 50, I have to like these even if I don't want to, right??? I'm joining the Emerson/Linda Fan Club!!! TFS!
