 | | A simple little card to say "hello". The card was created with a Sizzix die.
Faux stitching was created by first embossing a rectangle with my Scor-Pal, then going over the embossed rectangle with my Scor-Bug. Embossing first raises the line and the Scor-Bug pierces it so it feels like stitches. Then I go over it with a gel pen to make it look like the thread.
The image was colored with pencils. The sky was created with my COPICs ABS. Punched flowers were added to the tree. The chain was created with a silver sticker which I colored with a brown COPIC to tone it down. The bird was stamped 3 times and cut out, cropping the branch it was sitting on. I glued them together for depth and then glued it onto the birdhouse perch. I colored the label's embossed rim with a COPIC and then added stickers on each end which I also colored with Brown.
It really was very simple to make, it just seems to take me longer to explain it than to create it
Thanks for looking and I hope it inspires you to stamp today. |
