I used the Fifth Avenue Floral and the color splash technique to create a card to send to my Chemo Friend. To make my rose, I used Shimmery White paper and Cameo Coral ink and Versamark to clear emboss the rose 4 times. I created 4 layers from the finished images.
I used the sketch from the Card Patterns blog for my card as it allowed me to highlight the layered rose. The Our Creative Corner blog challenged us to use a border punch. This is one tool I use a lot as I really like them. I thought this card would be great to use the eyelet border punch with. Once I cut my border strip I used a sponge dauber and applied ink to the edge to soften the edge. I then just had to layer my patterned paper and ribbon then add dimensionals and attach to card..
