Now Mothermark is having her usual Teapot Tuesday extravaganza...but this week Sumo Wrestlers are involved! They are so big and strong and scary...and since their butts are always on display, they have been ordered to only come to the party through the back door. So I decided to make a card sans butt so I can rush in the front door, grab my green tea, and then HIGH TAIL it outta there if you know what I mean (I am only 5 foot 3 and have size 6 feet...I could get squashed!).
I chose to be inspired mostly by the beautiful elements...I thought the sentiment sounded very Chinese/Japanese proverb-like, very wise! I also liked the little blue flower thingies, the pink and blue color scheme, the blue branches...but I did use some Liquid Pearls and my cuttlebug for dimension...since the teapot has some, ummm, errr, dimension in the mid-area.
If you are too skeeered to play this week, make sure you come to the party next week...Mothermark is celebrating Teapot Tuesday #52 which means a YEAR of teapots!

You're what? 5'3" ... yikes, schrimp! Your hair has to be the same length! Just kidding. I love your card with your swiss dotted heart and coffee cup. Pretty ingenius to sue twine, too. Pretty darn great MM teaparty card if you ask me!

I suppose its too late to read you my disclaimer although I think you probably didn't need it based upon your lightening speed feet getting you in the door and out! How rude of me to go to bed in the middle of the sumo wrestling, sushi slinging, slip sliding slimmy sushi competitions! But you know I was the first one at the party, its a long way to Japan, and I was butt tired! Snort!
When I look at this adorable little card something tells me that if someone pulled on that little string, knowing you, it just might unleash something that could defend a shrimpy little 5'3" size 6 foot skeerdy cat! See Lorraine up there, she thinks its peace and inviting and you are drawing her in! I'll hang back for a while cuz I know you are the feisty one! Snort!
I love your card Kelly...its adorable and I do see the teapot! I do! I do! love the sentiment and the little pearlized accents. So happy you made it to the tea party again. Thank you for coming and thank you for the plug at the end of your post! I appreciate it! I'll see you next week girlfriend! Snorts, Snugs, Snorkles, Chorts, and Sniggles!

I thought I saw a flash of lightning but it must have been you running through the party. Hope you didn't slip on the sushi! Like your sentiment and the twine is a perfect embellishment.

So that streak of lightning that APandi mentioned was you!! Everyone should know that the real reason you snuck in and out so fast was you were dressed like a sumo wrestler. You thought it would be funny to come that way, but then your modesty overcame you so you snuck out real fast. I am glad we got to see your card though. The sentiment and the little liquid pearls are what I noticed first. I look forward to seeing you at next week's teaparty!
