For the "ribbon" layer that looks like pinking shears I used a technique that I saw recently on a blog, but I can't remember which blog. If anybody recognizes it, please let me know so I can give credit.
You use de scalloped circle Nestabilities, and after you cut the circle, you turn the Nestabilitie a little bit, so the point between the scallops is now in the middle of the scallop. When you cut it the second time, you get that look.

This looks wonderful in the silver! And I have that retired SU grad cap as well!!! It's a perfect cap for graduation! And the funny thing, OUR school initials are BHS -- LOL!!! Great job!!!
