Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Water + Sand= Follow the List. Participants were to use only Blues, Greens, Grays, sand and Neutrals. They were also to use ribbon, brads and piercing.
I REALLY wanted to use this photo I took in my former life, (when I was married to my ex-husband.) I remember going out on the helicopter with my FIL, (he was my traveling companion.) I took 14 rolls of film of Lady Liberty that afternoon. When I saw the requirements for this challenge I KNEW I had to use one of my photos. I printed off my photo on Color Copier paper (80lb), and cut to size. Next, I stamped the silhouette image in Memento ink's Cocoa. I sponged in color for the sky and the grass....This photo is NOT to scale, as I cut off the bottom of the statue's base and added in the "grass." The papers are K&Company.

Just when I decide to try to cut back on my stamp budget, Flourish is coming out with these fabulous sets. Thanks for the sneak peeks. Love how you have used photos with these.
