It's a Dirty Dozen Challenge again! This month I got to choose the theme which is H2O! Creating water-themed projects to get us in that summer mood.
Required Element: Watercoloring! If we're doing a water themed project there needs to be some element of watercoloring on your creation.
Restricted Element: If it's H2O that means the two in the equation restricts you to only two embellishments. Focal image shapes like nesties or sizzix die cuts don't count.
And...would you believe it, I did the entire project, and had it finished on my desk before I realized I did it wrong! It had NO watercoloring! Oh brother, SO to save it, I restamped the little boy on watercolor paper and watercolored him and popped him up! And I have some vellum waves lapping at his feet.
This stamp always reminds me of my boys when they are playing at the beach, and how their sweet blond hair blows in the breeze and the back of their necks get so tanned.

Don't you love it when you get something totally finished and realize you made some kind of error or left something off? That is my life story. But.....with that said.......there appears to be no mistake even though you had to cut the boy. The vellum waves is a clever and creative look and I love that there is a roll to the way. Gorgeous work Christine! I just love this!

Love the vellum waves and your twine treatment! Too funny about forgetting to watercolour!! This image reminds me of when we used to play on the beach, but I don't remember building a sandcastle as nice as this one lol!
