This week we are getting away from our formal wear and we're donning our hiking boots and binoculars to go bird watching during the tea party! Looks like I need to go find my bird guide before I come.
I stamped my birdhouse with River Rock and Blue Bayou by inking a slightly damp stamp directly with an ink-loaded Fantastix to give a look more like wood (?). I did the same thing with the River Rock branches above the bird house. I stamped two little birds with Blue Bayou and popped them up one over the other. Some Blue Bayou ribbon and brads finished it. Oh, and I cuttled the River Rock layer with the Distressed Stripes folder.
Thanks for the invite to the party, Cindy! I came home from my trip with a bit of bad cold so it may take me a little bit to get everything together, but I'll be there as soon as I can!

Carla, this is beautiful!! I did a big "awwwwww" when I seen the blue bayou and river rock. I miss so many of the old colors. Your birdhouse is so cute! I love that little bird, just waiting to hop in.

Hi Carla! So sorry you are not feeling well. I hate it when I have been out of town and pick something up! No worries though, I think I spotted a yellow bellied kleenix toting red crowned finch! They are known for dropping kleenix on people instead of pooh! So maybe he will sense your need for kleenix! Snort!
Your card is awesome! I love that image. Talk about perfect for our challenge today. I love the woodsey look of the cuttlebugged back ground. Its perfect with this image! I will look forward to seeing you and all your stuff when you get it rounded up! Hugs.....hope you feel better soon!!!

Hey Carla, I'll sit beside you. I feel as if I've been coming down with a cold for the last week; the silly thing won't get worse but it won't get better either. I hope you enjoyed your trip anyway.
You've certainly managed to produce a perfect teapot card .

Hey Carla, I here a hot tottie is great for a cold. With all the tea drinking going on here I am sure we could make you a real strong one. Love your little bird house and birdie here. So very pretty. Love the colors. Super job for not feeling that well. Love it. TFS :0)

Stir a little lemon in your tea - it'll help with the head cold. Your card is great and so pretty. I love the wood look and the punched trim on the bottom is such a nice touch.

Awesome Carla. So woodsy and perfect to go with Cindy's teapot. It looks real. You really came prepared for the outdoors. Huh?! Sit down, take a load off. I'm sure the hot tea with honey is just what the doctor ordered for your cold.
