My friend Beth's birthday was earlier this month and this is the card that I made for her. She loves the color red, so I wanted to make something with a real pop of color!
Since I was trying to showcase the red, I paired it with a couple of neutral colors- basic gray and natural white. I inked up the daisy image in basic gray ink and stamped it off once before stamping on the natural white cs. The butterfly is from God's Beauty and it was stamped on watercolor paper with black stazon ink. I used my blender pen and riding hood red ink to color it in. I cut the butterfly out and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment on natural white cs and used the large oval punch on it, then I matted it with the scalloped oval punch. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon and added some brads as a final touch.
Thanks for looking!
