I am a volunteer docent at the Molly Brown House Museum in downtown Denver (shameless plug) and this time of year we have several contracted bridal teas. When I saw the white teapot I immediately knew what I would do. Wish, when I finished, I had used shimmery white paper. Oh well. I am a little concerned about the fruit, mice, chocolate, butterflies and whatever we have had in the past making a mess on the parasol. Also, Cindy, my mother said never wear white until after Memorial Day!

Super pretty shower card! I love the Swiss Dots background and the sparkly parasol! Beautiful ribbon and pin! You are right to worry about this beauty getting messed up at the party! Already Schirmcat has pushed me into a mud puddle and got my clean white outfit a mess! You have to be so careful at these parties!

Oh how lovely is this parasol. A bit too white for me today. You gotta watch what I might do when I ask Kenya, my little fairy to start wiggling that wand around, no telling what might (oops) spill on your precious card. LOL
I love that hatpin and all the shimmers, you rocked it solid girl! TFS

So pretty!! I love the white with the blue accent. Love the hatpin and pearls, along with the sparkles. Perfect for the teaparty. And it was smart to bring an umbrella... you might need it to protect your outfit. Oh, but we don't want the umbrella dirty either. Oh, I hope the crowd doesn't get too out of control!!

See Cindy I told you the fashion gurus do not allow white until after Memorial Day and only until Labor Day. This is so pretty. I love soft parasol. It is great in these colors. The pretties look terrific. I think it is super that you do this volunteering. Maybe you can get some ideas for our tea parties... Thanks for filling Cindy in on the fashion guidelines. She was clueless...

Clueless? Well maybe but I am old and there is alot of information all jumbled up in my brain! Okay, now I know...Labor Day although, I get Labor Day and Memorial Day mixed up! Snort!
This is such a pretty card! I love that you were inspired at the Museum as well as the teapot! The sparkley paper would have been pretty but there is nuttin' wrong with this wonderful card! Nuttin' I tell ya! The parasol is precious...note my fancy up-bringing....calling it a parasol and not an umbrella! Hee!
Don't know what to tell ya with regards to keeping it clean. It might be *mud* that we have issues with this week.....You are a brave soul to bring it and I appreciate it! That and the link!
