A little hello ...

Poster: Inky Fingers

My first attempt in using the So Tweet chipboard. This little bird is just adorable. I dressed him in Basic Grey's Urban Prairie papers and made his eyes gorgeous with a yellow Circle Fire brad.

The Summer Sun base is stamped with SU retired Cheesecloth in Summer Sun. A piece of Night of Navy was Cuttlebugged using the Stylized Flowers EF. A scrap piece of Old Olive was CB'd with the Dotted Swiss EF.

I wanted to do something different than the simple scalloped edge punch, so I punched 1" circles out of Old Olive, Night of Navy and Summer Sun scraps. After these were punched, I placed them inside the Dotted Swiss EF and embossed them; then placed them out at the bottom of the NON embossed piece.

At the bottom, I stamped the sentiment then paper pierced the left side of it.

The little birdie was raised on pop dots and finished off the piece. What do you think?

This is really sweet, I am so into old olive and night of navy, and just got a pack of mixed earth colours. Thanks for the idea to use summer sun with them.
