I have been using the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set so much I'm gonna wear the rubber down!
I've been wanting to try one of these hinged cards ever since I saw my first one a couple of months ago . . . today's challenge gave me the perfect opportunity.
WT217 - incorporate Kraft cardstock into your card. Excellent!! I am sooooo in love with this Bella Bleu paper (it's MUI-MUI lovely!)! It matches the kraft paper perfectly!!
I punched a vertical slot next to the sentiment to sneak the ribbon through the back side so I could tie a bow. Coolio, eh?
Special thanks to my dear friend, Karen (imastampin), who helped inspire me while I was making this card during our Skype conversation today (now SHE needs to go buy this border punch!!)!
After initially uploading this, I decided to go back and add the sentiment to the inside of the card, then reloaded the new photo. I think I like it better this way!
Thanks for lookin!
PS - I finally got my act together and did a video tutorial for this on my blog . . . check it out here:
